I love sliced peppers with turkey in a delicious creamy sauce. It's easy and quick to prepare - 15 minutes maximum prep time, if that, plus the quick cooking time. The recipe is also very diverse and can be expanded or changed as desired. For example, you can use other types of meat instead of turkey, such as chicken, pork, or beef. It always tastes good anyway.

Ingredients:

  • 400 g

    tagliatelle

  • 500 g

    Turkey – cut into pieces

  • 2

    red peppers – diced

  • 1

    onion – diced

  • 400 ml

    vegetable broth

  • 200 g

    cream (30% fat)

  • 2 tbsp

    Flour dissolved in cold water

  • 1 tbsp

    Oil

  • 1 tsp

    paprika powder (sweet)

  • 1 tbsp

    tomato paste

  • Salt, pepper to taste

Preparation:

  • Cook the tagliatelle in salted water according to the instructions. Meanwhile, heat the oil in a pan and sauté the onions until golden brown.

  • Add the diced peppers and paprika powder and the meat to the pan. Continue frying for about 3 to 5 minutes.

  • Stir the tomato paste into the pan and add the vegetable broth. Then add the cream and bring everything to a boil.

  • After about 3 minutes, add the flour and let the pan simmer for another 3 minutes. The sauce should now thicken a bit.

  • Finally, season everything with salt and pepper to taste and serve with the finished tagliatelle.

Tip:

  • Recently I replaced the cream with coconut milk and it also tasted very, very delicious. Feel free to try it out.
