Recipe: Scampi Pasta – Macaroni in white wine sauce

    • Approx. 500g pasta

    • 250g scampis or prawns

    • 400g cream

    • 2 tbsp white wine

    • 1 tsp cornstarch

    • 1 tsp instant broth

    • Fresh basil

    • Marjoram, oregano, parsley

    • salt, pepper, garlic


    • Cook the noodles according to the instructions. Meanwhile, fry the scampi in oil or butter and season with salt, pepper, garlic, marjoram, oregano and parsley.

    • As soon as the prawns are seared, deglaze with white wine and let simmer.

    • Add the cream, stir well and continue to simmer.

    • If you like the sauce thicker, you can now mix in the cornstarch. Put the cornstarch in a glass, something cold!! Add water and stir - if there are no lumps.. stir the whole thing into the pan.

    • Once the pasta is al dente, drain the pasta and add to the pan. Sprinkle in some Parmesan and mix everything well... Roughly spread the basil leaves over it and my delicious dish is ready 🤗


    • If you like a bit of spiciness, you can add about 1 tsp of chili flakes. This pasta combination tastes delicious.
